What's the best treatment for follicular cyst that's lasted 9 months w symptoms & enlarging ovary? mirena (levonorgestrel) started 1.5 yrs ago, can taking it out help?

Laparoscopy: Getting rid of a persistent ovarian cyst sometimes takes surgery. Fortunately, it can be removed by laparoscopy as an out-patient surgery. Taking out the Mirena (levonorgestrel) will probably not help resolve the cyst.
