A member asked:

Took mirena (levonorgestrel) out in jan. 5th. we have been trying to conceive since. but nothing. is there something wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: In a normal fertile woman, the chance of pregnancy in any given month with unprotected intercourse is only 15%-20%. It sometimes takes a few months of 'trying' to achieve pregnancy, even if nothing is wrong. If you don't get pregnant after a year of trying, you need to be seen by your gyn. If you you are not having regular menses, see your gyn. It might mean that you are not ovulating.
