A member asked:

Is it safe to take hcg( for wt loss) when on an aromatase inhibitor ,ihave taken it previous but was not on the arimadex at the time thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not defined: I assume the aromatase inhibitors are being used to manage potential or existing metastatic breast cancer. HCG is a hormone developing during pregnancy which does have some beneficial effect on cancer, at least with regard to the n-terminal repeat of the molecule. How it effects breast cancer has not been reported and when used for diet many patients overuse the product and become anorexic .
