A member asked:

Is it ok for toddler to eat a lot of tougher and pudding she has tonsillitis and only wants that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's fine!: When a toddler has tonsillitis or other causes of sore throat, let them eat whatever is comfortable. You are not going to ruin their nutrition by giving in to what they can tolerate for a few days when they are sick. This is the compassionate and appropriate way to feed them at this time. If it goes on for more than 4-5 days, then have child rechecked to make sure infection is improving.
