About

Bio

Julie D. Bruno, Psy.D earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Composition and Communications from Florida State University. She went on to earn her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. Julie acquired specialized training throughout her doctoral education in child, medical and forensic assessment. Additionally, she acquired training in substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and forensic psychology. Julie utilizes an integrated approach to psychotherapy with a firm foundation in existential theory. She has special interest in the treatment of individuals with existential concerns, history of abuse and trauma, substance abuse, gender issues and family of origin issues. Life's splendor forever lies in wait about each one of us in all its fullness, but veiled from view, deep down, invisible, far off. It is there, though, not hostile, not reluctant, not deaf. If you summon it by the right word, by its right name, it will come. – Franz Kafka
