The FIGO staging: Is clinical and applicable world-wide, so fancy tests (ct, mri, pet) excluded. I confined to cx, ii extends to vagina or up to body, iii further down the vagina or outward to parametrium, IV invading adjacent (bladder rectum) or metastasis beyond pelvic nodes.
