A member asked:

What are the symptoms of low blood pressure ? is it a serious thing to worry about ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dizziness: The most common symptom of low BP is dizziness, especially when rising to stand. There are some clinical setting where we may worry about lower BP, but in general lower BP is protective. For people who are normally hypertensive, they may not tolerate having their BP lowered that far--it may affect their cerebral blood flow.
