Here are some...: Most of general surgeons should have a sufficient professional keenness and alert to suspect possible penile fracture based on history with sequence of events, since they have gone through some training rotation through urology service. But, an urgent management should be done by urologists if available for they have had more practical experience in penile fracture repair.

Urologist: A penile fracture occurs when a shearing force is applied to the erect organ. This result is damage to the tissues that cause an erection (corpora cavernosa) with severe pain, bleeding into the penis, and swelling. This procedure is treated by a urologist, not a general surgeon.
