Safer!: Clothes made from synthetic fibers can generate static electricity--not good in the OR environment. Also, it's possible to lose bowel or bladder control under anesthesia, so best to remove underthings too. Don't worry--your personal privacy is always protected, and your entire body is covered by sheets and blankets.

Removal of under wea: all cloths are removed from patient under anesthesia.reason is infection,policy and in case of emergency we can manage the patient better
