Probably : If you're virginal, I would say the likelihood is pretty high.

Not at all: If as you say your period is normal there is a large enough opening to allow menstrual flow. An imperforate hymen allows NO flow. Those with a narrow hole in their hymen can often not use tampons until the hymen is torn open by sex or opened surgically (done if it is too thick/painful).
