Several ways: It is important to realize that not all precancerous conditions of the cervix require specific treatment. The immune system of young people can clear the lesion and it can be monitors to assure this happening. If treatment is necessary, there are several methods of removal, including laser, leep conization, and cryotherapy.

Surgically: Gynecolists or gynecologic oncologists will advice different type of resection procedures for it. In general, they will try to preserve the rest of the uterus, in case fertility preservation is desired, as in a 22 year old person. Some procedures involve resection of a piece of cervix (conization), but there are other available techniques.
