You can ice them, use Voltaren gel on them, do stretches of your entire legs/feet to include all the muscles, cycle lightly on a stationary bicycle to wam and loosen the lower leg muscles and take Tylenol and ibuprofen as long as you can tolerate them and do not have other medical issue indicating you should avoid them. In the long term best to have a good strength & condition program for legs.
