At 39 it could be: Firstly, the issue is whether what you are getting is actually LSD. I have seen scores of people thinking they were getting LSD, or 'shrooms, or peyote buttons, and it turned out to be PCP, which IS dangerous. Secondly, these drugs cause very rapid heart rate, which isn't dangerous when you are 20, but can be at 40. While psychotic reactions/flashbacks rare, they do happen.
