What do you think about lsd?

LSD addiction: I have not seen pts who demonstrated addiction to lsd but more have 'polyabuse' using anything they can get their hands on to alter reality. The problem is that lsd (and other hallucinogen) abuse can lead to residual psychotic symptoms and may alter brain chemistry which can be difficult to treat. Some have intrusive flashbacks years after stopping, which can be as bad as an addiction. I would put lsd in the same category as heroin as drugs that should never be tried since their effects can be permanent.
