Depends: Depends on the age, if the patient has an underlying disease and also the weather. Small babies can become dehydrated and die in a day. Older children and healthy teenagers, if they do not or drink anything can last for a couple of days ( can last as much as 7days). Same thing as healthy young adults. Senior patients and patients with liver or kidney disease might last less than that.
