How can i know the gram stain reaction without doing a gram stain in staphylococcus epidermidis?

Gram positive cocci: You need to do a gram stain to see gram positive organisms like Staphylococci which are gram positive. S. epidermidis is coagulate negative while Staph.aureus coagulate positive.
