Ask your hospital: Every hospital has anesthesiologists on staff. If you are going to have surgery and want to speak with an anesthesiologist, the hospital should be able to point you in the right direction. Depending on the kind of surgery that is needed, you may want to speak with someone who specializes in anesthesia for that type of surgery. You absolutely have the right to see your anesthesiologist in advance.
