A member asked:

How can i cope with post traumatic stress disorder on my own?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your Story: One way is to tell your story. That might mean starting off very slow and writing about your trauma. The idea is to take it slow, so you don't overwhelm yourself and feel traumatized again. Keep building on your story. When and if you feel safe, consider sharing your story. Victims often feel silenced, so do the opposite and work on finding your voice.
