Why am i told to wash my mouth really well after using advair?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thrush: Taking inhaled steroid medications can occasionally cause thrush (oral candidiasis). This can be prevented by rinsing the mouth after use of the product. This includes drugs such as advair, symbicort, (budesonide and formoterol) asmanex, qvar, etc.
