A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prostate enlarged: You should be evaluated by a urologist with a prostate exam. The usual treatment for enlargement is medication. Relaxers and shrinkers. Relaxers are Alpha blockers which relax the smooth muscle in the prostate. Shrinkers are 5 Alpha reductase inhibitors. These prevent conversion of testosterone to a more potent form in the prostate.
