A member asked:

Is it important to have flu shot if you are a mom of 2 kids, ages 5 and 3.?

Recommended: Since many adults and some kids die every year from complications of the flu, I recommend it to all my patients in any situation. Some get it and some don't. I have witnessed the death of a pregnant mom to flu (2009) so the memory drives the thought. Most people don't have complications from the flu, but by the time you know you're sick, you have given it to your kids.
