A member asked:

How much time does it take to get addicted to tramadol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wrong term: No drug "causes" ADDICTION. Addiction requires the active participation of the person. What you really mean is physical dependency, which is NOT the same thing as addiction. Babies don't get "addicted" to things their mothers are taken, despite what sloppy reporters/editors say in newspapers or on TV/radio. If you take 50-100 mg of Tramadol twice a day for several weeks, you get mild dependence.
