Fitfully: A scratched or abraded cornea can be quite painful. Your ophthalmologist may have provided a bandage contact lens which will help relieve the discomfort. Corneas usually heal very rapidly so most of the time you will only have one bad night. Sleeping pills or a stiff drink may help.
