Yes, medical, : developmental & behavioral health evaluations are needed. Your school district's Child Find can assess for eligibility for Early Childhood Special Education for social/emotional delays. Also, seek referral to a child psychologist & psychiatrist or developmental/behavioral pediatrician. It is vital that the child receive no positive or negative attention from any family member for the tantrums.

Hi Doctor, I would like to get some information regarding a 6 year old female child with bad behaviour, temper tantrums and defiant issues.
What are the possible causes of night terrors in a healthy, 22y/o female? There is no history of any type of abuse and no other known sleep disorder.
