Sleep entry disorder: Night terrors are often a sign of decreased effective sleep in childhood, with the deficit causing a rapid drop off into the deep sleep state when the problem occurs. Sleep walking and sleep talking are similar in their origin & expression.More predictable & longer sleep periods &/or short naps during the day will often improve sleeping patterns and end the night terrors.
