No: Corrective glasses help to compensate for a mismatch in the corneal shape, which helps them see clearly and reduce eyestrain. If you don't use them you are just forcing the eyes to work harder and inviting a number of unpleasant side effects like headaches.

Depends: If the vision in both eyes is close on strength/distortion you may be okay. If there is enough difference in the two, over time your brain can decide to turn down the input from the weaker/fuzzier eye. I would confer with your eye doc to clarify how this could affect you.
