I haven't had a bm in 4 days. on regular stool softeners (& lots of water) due to meds causing constipation/hemorrhoids that lasted for weeks. should i be concerned? terrified of going thru that again

No: Unexplained change in bowel habits are more of a concern. It is OK to take laxatives daily when on constipation meds
