Many causes........: There are many possible causes: heart (angina, heart attack, arrhythmia, heart valve issue, etc), lung (allergies, asthma, blood clot, etc), gastro (acid reflux, ulcer, etc), gallstones, pancreatitis, hormonal (thyroid, etc), muscular injury, pinched nerve, and mental (anxiety etc).
Given the large number of possible causes, you should see your GP for evaluation.
