Replantation: If the finger has a clean cut, depending on the length, it can be reattached by microsurgical methods. If the part of the finger is lost, the remaining stump can be surgically covered by skin flaps.

Depends: Re attachment and transfers are possible as part of reconstructions for trauma. Lots of factors involved in the decisions. Time, area, tools, injuring agent, destroyed elements.
