i have an infected toe i think this an ingrown nail its all red and hurts what can i do to reduced the pain and redness?

Pain meds + Ice/heat: + elevate + Antibiotics. See your PCP for the early treatment and antibiotics, but if no improvement then the nail would need to be removed ( partial or completely). Soaking in warm saline also is helpful.

See a foot doc: You may not of gotten all the nail out. If you did, sounds like you need an oral antibiotic.
