See a physician: Asthma is a serious diagnosis which requires pulmonary function studies, allergy testing, and a routine chest xray: get another medical opinion- these tests are imprtant and not a nursing issue.

You may have asthma: To give you a full answer, I would need more information. First, were you referred to an asthma educator or to a nurse practitioner who works with an asthma specialist? You don't mention any breathing tests. The diagnosis of asthma is made by the patient's history, physical examination and breathing tests. A chest x ray is for exclusion of other lung diseases. In short, I can't fully answer.
