A member asked:

Rheumatoid arthritis patient. why does she has chronic low levels of creatinine in blood 0.2 , 0.3 . age 32 weight 140 lbs.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Muscle wasting: Muscle wasting is the commonest cause of low creatinine. Rheumatoid arthritis results in less than normal exercise and use of joints, and this is aggravated by use of corticosteroids. The Arthritis Foundation has many good programs for exercise.
