Maybe: This is a medication that has not had an official clearance for use in kids (under 18). My backup, pediatric gastroenterologists will occasionally use it off label in difficult cases, usually after they have verified the kids problems with endoscopy.The medication can be quite effective in symptom relief, but its many potential side effects make general or long term use in kids problematic
