MRSA is staph: it causes boils and pink eye. The pink eye of staph tends to have a LOT of gunk and inflammation with it. Lung infection with staph would surely put you in the hospital ! (fever, severe lung problems, a lot of gunk being coughed up, etc.). .. Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular situation

See your doctor: MRSA can cause eye infection.You need to see your doctor. Be sure he cultures the eye discharge.
