Had x-ray's yesterday, shown some sort of metal object in the chest area. how is this removed if not in trachea, but in chest wall?

Surgery if in chest: Most likely needs to be removed by surgery. Have you ever been shot at or been in a war and had shrapnel sprayed on you? I would correlate with your past history of trauma or surgery in this region.
