Take her temperature: Your hand is not a good thermometer so take her temperature. It is very important to be sure. Temperature is an indicator of illness and your pediatrician will want to know. Fever in a 7 month old is anything greater than 100.4. (rectal temperatures in that age group is the best).

Yes but: She could also be just sweaty.Babies vent a lot of their heat through their head, and this is not indicative of illness. If you have any reason to be concerned about her health, take a real temperature and have her seen if it is abnormal.
