Sugar ingestion: It is the sugar intake that increases the triglycerides. I suggest that you try stopping all forms of sugar and sweeteners.

Not: as likely you might get diabetes! High triglycerides are a marker for insulin resistance!

No: The Triglycerides if fasting is mildly elevated. Reducing simple carbohydrates, exercise and weight loss will reverse it
