Get it checked: An increased discharge in the third trimester may be normal but it can also be a sign of an infection or ruptured membranes. Its best to have it checked out by your OB. As your pregnancy progresses and the uterus enlarges, blood flow to the mucus membranes of the vagina and cervix increase causing more discharge.
