Early labor signal?: Old blood appears brownish. Did your OB examine you recently? Did you have intercourse? Is it still there, more profuse, reddish? Are you having contractions, pressure or pain in the pelvis? These are some questions you will be asked by your OB or his associate. Discharge can herald labor. A third trimester baby can have risks if born before term. So most obs would want to evaluate or speak to you.
