Possibly related: The spermatic cord travels through the inguinal canal, where inguinal hernias occur. When a male ejaculates, the spermatic cord shortens. If there is scar tissue as a result of hernia surgery, then the scar tissue will pull on the spermatic cord and can cause some discomfort. This is not a serious problem. It may improve over time, stay the same or worsen. See your surgeon for advice.
