A member asked:

I had an inguinal hernia surgery in 2010. i feel pain and weakness in surgical side when i ejaculate. will the problem be appear in a mri scan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The wound is done healing at this point, and i wouldn't expect there to be a lot of inflammation present several years out from surgery. It may loosen up and drop with time. Chronic testis pain from hernia repair is a known phenomenon, but an MRI is unlikely to be helpful. I would consult with a local urologist who has expertise in scrotal content pain disorders.
