Not recommend: Alcohol may increase or decrease levels and possibly effect of propanolol. The plasma half-life of Propranolol is from 3 to 6 hours. It is recommended that you avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking propranolol. Be prudent, sensible and careful.

24 hours: Propranolol slows your heart rate. It should be completely out of your system before using alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant which can also slow your heart rate. You should wait 24 hours, even though it may be out of you system a little sooner.
