I have asthma and it flares up every few hrs. albuterol seems to work but lasts a few hrs then comes back.would it respond if it is actually anxiety?

Yes: I see you're taking Advair too. It is possible that your preventative medicine is not strong enough. If not improving, you should seek medical help. Anxiety can worsen asthma and asthma attacks can worsen anxiety. If you find yourself using more albuterol, it is a sign of worsening asthma and should be evaluated.
