Is it your disc?: It sounds like you are describing a ruptured disc, which is the soft disc that separates the bones/vertebrae in your back. This is a common low back injury. If you are not taking any pain meds already, you could try an over the counter anti inflammatory (follow the directions), use an ice pack covered by a towel over the area for 20 min. at a time, and lie on you back with knees bent can help.
