Waiting on pre-auth: One simple thing you may be able to do, is ask the pharmacy if they'll dispense a few pills pending the preauth. If they know you, sometimes they will. Also, your doc may have samples -- so give a call. If you've got to wait, try relaxing, distracting exercises -- for some it's reading, for others it's exercising. Don't isolate if you can help it. Contact your MD or go to the ER if you feel unsafe
