Oral surgery: If your pain is dental related, talk to your dentist or the oral surgeon.

Severe pain: I see no reason why you can't be seen sooner, say withing a day or two. I can almost always see an emergency the same day and the Oral Surgeon that we refer to can also see patients within a day or two. Speak to the Oral Surgeon or ask your General Dentist to refer you to someone else.
