For thrush : There are several different meds. Both pills and liquid. Speak to your PCP and start on course of treatment. As far as the diabetes Not sure what pre diabetic is. You either are or are not. If you have risk factors. ( family history etc). You can start eating right and exercising. I also recommend going to diabetic classes to be fully prepared.

Ask your DR: Sounds like you have been sick. HbA1c and blood sugars may be affected. Were sugar tests done while IV running? Thrush due to antibiotics. You do not indicate the nature of your illness. General good sense indicates reduction of diabetes by regular exercise and weight control featuring a high fiber diet including a variety of vegetables and salads. Evaluation: If you have prediabetes the treatment is aggressive behavior change, commit to walking daily for 30 minutes, increasing your water intake and fruits and veggies. Health gaming can help! Your thrush problem needs evaluation by a physician. Be sure and check your a1c every 3 months. With diligence you can improve this!
