Signs?: It's fairly rare (1/1,000) and usually w/ a new insertion. In any case, I'd hope the doctor could make a special appt if there is cause. Urge them politely but firmly. Warning signs include severe abdominal pain, heavy or abnormal bleeding, and a smelly vaginal discharge. Also, many ERs do offer help w/ bill if you need it lowered. Ask about it. It can lower anxiety for future possible needs.Best!
