What is a neck lift?: A necklift often is a component of a facelift & the facelift incision carries around behind the ear to remove excess neck skin. Any excess fat can be removed & the neck muscles repaired if needed. In certain pts that don't need/want a facelift, the neck can be treated alone but this is uncommon. Cost varies depending on surgeon & geographic area. Downtime = ~10 days. Seek out a board certified PS!

No: A neck lift is less in incision and elevation than a full facelift. Costs vary by location, and most people take a week or two off work. No strenuous activity for two weeks.

Neck lift: There are different types of neck lifts to address different anatomical variants just like there are different types of facelifts. Have your neck evaluated by a board certified surgeon who specializes in these procedures. The cost can vary by procedure and locations.
