A member asked:

Does adenoidal hypertrophy cause headaches, dizziness and memory issues? what else could be the cause of my soft tissue swelling in that area?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: If you know that the tissue in the nasopharynx is benign enlargement of lymphoid tissue, then it is not possible that you would have dizziness and memory issues. If your ENT doctor visualizes, a mass in the back of the nose at 37 years of age, I would operate and remove that tissue to identify exactly what the pathology is. CAT scan of the head would also be appropriate.
